Damilola Sowemimo, a 25 years old female banker with the United Bank for Africa, was on Sunday shot dead by two gunmen operating on a motorcycle in front of her parents house in Lagos. “The bandits came down from the bike, snatched her phone and ransacked her bag. When they did not see any valuables in her bag, they got angry and shot her in the neck before speeding off,” said Tosin Adeboye.
It was gathered that Damilola was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital but later gave up the ghost as she bled profusely.
