Two Hollywood actors flew into Lagos yesterday as we all know. Gist as it that, the actors have refused to lodge in Eko Hotel & Suites which was booked for them because it is far below their standard. They also said same for Eko Le Meridien. Officials of AMMA have however moved them into Raddison Blu where a room costs N112, 500 per night, but moved their mothers into Protea Hotel which didn’t go down well with Rockmund and Morris Chesnut who wanted their mothers in the same hotel as theirs. Some birds are also saying Ghollywood actor Majid Michaels is also in town and has been moved to Protea hotel. AMMA is said to take place tomorrow, Sunday 22nd in Lagos.
Who is Morris Chestnut and the other Strange looking man sef! He is nothing in hollywood..just some hunky black not even an A list actor! Nigerians Sha....who cares anyway!

ReplyDeleteWe shouldn't deceive ourselves that Nigeria has 5 star hotels. At best Nicon, Radisson Blu and maybe Sheraton Lagos are 4 star. 5 star is on another level. Dorchester, Landmark, Waldorf Astoria, the Ritz (to name a few) are 5 star hotels. Go to them and you will know what 5 star is. These Hollywood peeps know Nigeria is all about the money so they are there to milk it. Next time, they should ask the American Embassy to house them to their standards!

Thank God someone rejects Eko Hotel with their brown water. I am sure the stars do not know how much is being paid for the hotels. It is only in Nigeria you see 3 star hotels claiming to be 5 star, charging the most expensive rates worldwide. Eko Hotel is also over-crowded, just the entry way alone and you feel like you're in a market place. I wonder how in-house guests cope with the traffic whenever there's a show. Glorified barracks. By the way, our local stars also put up the same act when they are called to perform abroad

ReplyDeleteI stayed at the Eko Hotel Suites for a week a couple of years ago; it was pretty decent and new but I have heard that the Towers are horrible! Don't blame him for rejecting it.
