Anon 16 May, 2012 23:30, yeah you are right, I googled ankara shoes yesterday and I got their name and website from a blog.
Their website na wa (hiphop lifestyle tinz); it took forever to load, nothing about it was on the frontpage or at least what I was patient enough to view, I clicked on the footwear link, apparently they make a lot of sneakers because na so so pictures of different sneakers, I just tire, the ankara design wey I dey find sef i no see before I vex comot.
Anon 17 May, 2012 01:22, you've just confirmed my major fear but I'll still try it.
Anon 17 May, 2012 01:22 were you wearing them everyday? Maybe you over-rocked them. They shouldn't be worn that often and if you didn't wear them that often they must have used cheap Ankara fabric. Hollandis/Vlisco is the best.
Think about our Mother's wrappers? They never faded. I have one my Mum has had for years and i spread it on my ironing board (which already has a cover) to iron. I brought it out of the washing machine on Saturday and i said wow, even though i treat it anyhow (LOL) it's still fresh looking.
These are very nice and will look retro with blue jeans and a white tee.
Gorg! I am in love, I need these sneakers in my life right now!
