Can you please post this picture to your blog and ask your readers what they think. Is this borderline sexual perversion or is it okay to use these sexual terms while trying to preach the word of God. Just curious. The guest speaker of the day by the way is an international model called Eefy. She models in NY and Italy and exposes quite a bit of body parts but if you also check her page on Facebook, she talks a lot about the Holy Ghost. So can we take her seriously? Does her profession affect us accepting her as a minister of God? Thoughts please.

ReplyDeleteFirstly the words used on the flyer is wrong wrong wrong but their defence would be its from the bible just bcuz its in the bible dont mean you must use it out of context tho. Further more with christianity the yorubas would say Oluwa knows who is truly serving Him. Furthermore i wouldnt judge her because of her job or the way she dresses even thou i am a born again christian. I dont dress revealing but it all depends on how everyone got convicted. Some have a deeper conviction than others just like level of spirituality is different. I wouldnt judge her on her job or the way she dresses to each his or her own ni o. We need to stop looking at ministers or speakers as role models cuz they are humans not angels our role model should be the God that we serve..... Thats my two kobo.
ReplyDeleteIf you read the bible, you will not take the word "breast" in a literal context. However, I do not know the Pastor and his intention- unless otherwise proven, this word is not an issue- Move on to something else!!!

And last I checked, the theme of most revivals or church events has to be repeated over and over. I dont think I would be able to feel the presence of the Holy Ghost if he word breast is repeated. As for Eeefy, I just checked her facebook out. SHe is sooo gorgeous but I also think she is kind of confused. She is hungry and thirsty for the Lord but reality is her proffession cannot and will not allow her to serve the Lord the way she can.

The pastor only wants to highlight the fact that proverbs ch5 wants husbands to be satisfied by their wives and not cheat on their wives. Abeg read d bible b4 u come here and comment

The pastor is obviously referring to philandering men and telling them to let their wives satisfy them. The word breast is just a metaphor and the bible supports this. Why are we still so sensitive when body parts are mentioned?? It is what it is. I would rather a pastor that preaches about intimacy in marriage than the one that does not.
