Ola in a critical condition as I write is under a serious intensive care in a hospital around Igando area of Lagos. His step-mum who works with the Lagos Internal Revenue Service took laws into and hands and punished him for beating her little daughter by pouring hot water on him while asleep. “The argument that led to the sad incident started when my step-mum saw me beat my sister” recalls Ola, she got very angry and wanted to harm me back in anger, she reached for and did all she could physically, I tried to defend myself but she overpowered me. She got more furious after my father and some neighbors tried to stop her, and she started scattering the house and even broke bottles. My uncle who also lives around was able to drag her away from the house, and she slept over at his’ that night. I was still sleeping on my bed the next morning, when I she walked into my room and bathed me with hot water; I staggered to the living room and saw my father and uncle. That was the last I remembered before I passed out and woke at the hospital.
The father said his brother came into the house around 4:30am the next morning to settle the rift that occurred the previous day; they all sat in the living room, when the wife stood up and went into the kitchen. She was going in and out, and they thought she was preparing herself for work, not until Ola walked out of the room, looking weak and skin peeled, and fainted on the ground. We quickly rushed him to the hospital, while she stood staring and mocking him for calling out for help.
The case has been reported at the police station, while the boy is still at the hospital wallowing in serious pain, and the step-mum on the run.

The woman is a wicked woman and has no conscience. she is not suppose to be a mother at all. if is seen anywhere let them imprison her or hold her and pure her the same hot water for her to feel the pains also. how am i not sure that she is witch for her to do such thing. now she has ran away and the poor boy is there suffering for pains. they should seriously continue to search for her and get her punished.

I am sure people will abuse me but it is important to put yourself in the persons shoes in order to understand what is going on before jumping to conclusions. I hope say na ordinary beat that this boy beat his sister? I hope he was not sexually molesting her in any way.
ReplyDeleteWhat she has done is despicable and wicked. I will be surprised that a human being will sink so low as to cause this type of grevious bodily harm on another because he beat her child.
While I agree that some people are cruel, I hope the woman will also be given a chance to tell her version of events.
That said, what she has done is barbaric. Sad.

Lucabracee it's not a fight. Please read my comments. Yes I do have the fear of God. I totally agree that what this woman has done is totally wicked, inexcusable and inhuman and of course the boy is in terrible pains at present; what has happened to him will leave life long pains on him.
ReplyDeleteI pray that the step mother has the courage and good sense to come out of hiding and face up to the consequences of what she has done and tell her version of story of what really happened and what made her so angry that after she was so enraged after the incident and that her husband's family members had to be involved and she was restrained and kept overnight in her inlaws house; what made her so mad that she still went on to pour a pot of boiling water over

No-one is casting aspersions, or soiling anyone's name here. Whichever way you look at it, the family have major issues they need to deal with.

what im getting at is that if the guy had done something that terrible to his sister, his own father would at the least have send him packing out of the house maybe to live with family members till everything is sorted out.
if you have experienced what goes on in polygamous homes you will be suprised at how petty arguments bring serious repercussions.
