Nigerians Still Sell Their Kidneys In Malaysia

The global economic crunch that is affecting all sphere of life is really having its tolls on Nigerians abroad who have resulted selling their kidneys and other sense organs for money.

These Nigerians abroad whose lives have been so unbearable are actively seeking markets to sell their kidneys online and have been making journeys to countries in Asia, – Malaysia and India particularly, to sell usually just one of their two kidneys for over $30,000. Click to continue reading…

The spoil: N5-10 Million, which translates to about $30-60,000 for the vital blood filtering and red blood cell (RBC) generating organ, has become a booming market for them.

Researchers have just discovered that there is a sophisticated online network of vendors, agents, resellers and hunters, who actively seek candidates.

These ‘experts’, we gathered, excavate the organs and ice-box them to the eager transplant centers, thriving with Asians, Middle Easterner’s and Europeans on the waiting list, hoping for that fresh, cheap paupers kidney.

How much do clients pay the harvesting centers for these kidneys? About $100-200,000. And they are teaming on the waiting list. “Sometimes kidneys are harvested with meager remuneration given the ‘donor’, or rather, seller- paid as little as $5,000 for the vital organ and many others die at operation or soon after,” a source said.

As you read this article, there are possibly 1000 Nigerians reading it with you, hoping to find a link to the underground network where they can get the hook-up to sell their organs. It is that bad.

What do we call this? Do we say they are desperate to make money or poverty in our country?

  3. ladun abeg correct your post heading.this has been going on for quite a while and its actually prevalent amongst nigerian youths living in nigeria not abroad.
a nigerian living abroad even if suffering is killing him/her will find it difficult to find such a network especially in the developing countries no kidney buyer would be that stupid risking being set up and jailed.

they entertain no such fears if operating in third world/developing countries like naija and doing the operations in other third world countries like india malaysia

the people you want to be looking at are yahoo yahoo boys who are not making as much money and then resorting to desperate means

  11. And this is the reason why the rate of kidnapping has increased over the past few years. Most times, the hostage is released after a few days. Mostly cos their blood type did not match the needing patient or cos they have one ailment inimical to the whole process. This explains why a friend of mine was kidnapped @ aba for four days, during which the kidnappers came to draw his blood several times. On the fifth day, they beat him seriously, and dropped him off in a far away location. Truth is... Naija is fucked!

issorai,if you dont believe why dont you go to malaysia amongst the nigerian community and put the word out that you r willing to let both your kidneys go for 10,000 dollars then if no one takes you up on the offer within a week you ll know for sure it doesnt exist

  26. Sorry to disappoint you all, i am a Nigerian living in Malaysia and none of this is true, if you have never been to Malaysia before to see for yourself, dont follow dumb people talking about dumb shit!

  27. Anyone reading this and have the intention of selling his/her kidney should know that.. The doctors first test you to know which kidney is more active.. The well functioning Kidney is removed and you are left with the kidney that is not functioning well bringing you close to death!

  29. MMM, TO ME SELLING ONE OF YOUR KIDNEY IS BETTER THAN KILLING SOMEONE FOR RITUALS, KIDNAPPING, ROBBERY, BOKO ARAM, EVEN BETTER THAN WHAT OUR LEADERS ARE DOING TO US IN NIGERIA. IF I HAVE THE MIND, I CAN DO IT, SINCE ONE KIDNEY DO THE SAME AS TWO.
