Entertainment Editor of Vanguard Newspaper Dies
The late Amadi in the middle receiving an award
The Entertainment Editor of Vanguard Newspaper, Mr Ogbonna Amadi is dead. He died this evening of asthma attack in his car. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
wow, didn't the man have his inhaler to hand? the nigerian weather coupled with the epileptic healthcare is a totally wrong place for an asthma sufferer to live. some people are still living abroad and not returning to naija due to managing their health challenges my he r.i.p
Oh dear. Hope some poisonous gas didn't seep through to choke him. He probably couldn't reach his inhalers (the blue and the brown ones) and tablets when they were needed the most. Sad. May he RIP. Amen.
my goodness I just checked facebook for his name and it is true. His friends are in shock. They are begging him to get up. So sad. What could have happened? na wa o. Dear fellow naijas when your body is speaking to you, please listen to it
Asthma attack ke, no emergency services could reach him cos the roads were blocked cos of potholes the government refused to repair, and the restlessness of lagos drivers. May his soul rest in peace. Bu the way, what's with all that fat on ita giwa...please madam, forget the thinking that u have to be obese to show u are rich in nigeria, you haven't got a clue how disease prone obese people are, please start exercising
Not heart attack its asthma( An inflammation "triggered" by any number of external and internal factors, the passages swell and fill with mucus) . I am asthmatic, i know how dangerous it can be. Almost lost my life once, when i lost my breath at ojota in a public bus and i was with an empty inhaler. Will forever be gratefully to a lady who happened to be asthmatic too, had to give a drug to regain consciousness. There has to be an awareness on asthma, now that atmospheric pollution is increasing esp. in lagos. I am based in ph now and i experience less asthma attack has compared to when i was in lagos.
