Aluu Killings: Police Dismiss Indicted Officer

The Nigerian Police on Wednesday announced that one of its men, Sergeant Lucky Orji, has been dismissed for alleged participation in the murder of four UNIPORT students in Umuokiri-Aluu Community in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State.

Force public relations officer who made this known said the officer was dismissed for ordering the mob to kill the suspected students based on the confessions of one of the arrested suspects. He will also be charged to court alongside with the suspects who have been arrested in Aluu community.

    Hopefully small small all other sectors will get their act together and make Nigeria sane again.

  7. When one of the victim's sister mentioned that a police officer said they shld be burnt, ppl were calling her a liar. Now it has been confirmed that d police had a hand in d killing.

  8. So, Tekena's sister (one of d 4 lynched) was sayin d truth afterall. And a lot of people insulted her for dat...cos she said she happened to be @d venue on dt fateful day and she saw two Policemen with a patrol van, and one of d policemen asked the mob to burn them!! Oh, what reckless killing!!
    I weep for my dear nation!! May the Almighty have mercy on us all!!!
