Ayefele's N200M Building To Be Demolished

Yinka Ayefele's N200M building might soon be pulled down by the Oyo State Government. And here is what his publicist has to say; Ayefele was not given any prior notice about the demolition and he was shocked to hear about it. He went ahead to church and later went to perform at an event as if nothing happened because he can't imagine the shock.

The N200million naira edifice has in its belly, two magnificent halls, an internet radio station, a standard studio and several offices. It also provides jobs for over 100 people and it is one of the busiest places in Oyo.

But we learnt the government wants to expand the road and that is why the building will be demolished.

  1. It is a pity that this is likely to happen to the beautiful edifice but any right-thinking individual that knows the buiding will know that it will be demolished some day for possible dualization of the ever-busy entrance road to Ibadan. I don't know but the Governor's antecedent does not give any chances of compensation except the law & situation of things enforce it.

    1. Omo Baba Olowo, you do not calculate the value of a house by strolling past it. Get educated so you don't sell off Daddy's massive Lekki house

  3. totally agree with you kolade, last time i was in ibadan in 2007 my first time of seeing the building and thats the first though that crossed my mind. he took a big risk erecting such a building in that location but I'm sure the govt will adequately compensate him and make arrangements for an alternative land for him...
what govt wants the backlash of cheating a disabled and popular musician?

  10. Islander don't be ignorant .... did you consider that the customized fittings in the studios alone might cost millions?

  11. Get some education kids. There is a setback for roads. This is mandatory and it applies everywhere in the world. The set back is at least 27 ft. from any road, that of highways may be more. We now have a mass of half-educated dummies displaying their ignorance everywhere.

looooool but you gys are right.i have only seen the outside and i can't fault a valuation of 200million.to build a standard hall sef you will need up to 40million naira talk less of 2 halls with proper fittings and all the other stuffs inside..besides property appreciation also counts towards the 200m
