Chief Justice Breaks Traffic Law in Lagos

Reports according to dailypost.com.ng  says, ” The Chief Justice of the Federation broke the Lagos State Traffic Law today by driving on the BRT lane. She was seen ‘driving’ against the law at 12:40 pm today and the case was reported live on Lagos traffic FM 96.1.”

The fine for taking a BRT lane is N25, 000. It is well.

  13. For security reasons the CJN shld not be in d usual Lagos traffic. Not dat she's above d law or better than every oda pesn but our no. 5 citizen shld not be stuck in traffic and exposed unnecessarily. If U are not happy about then become a CJN and enjoy d privilege.

  14. @ Anon 17:28, oh puhleeeze, reasonable explanation indeed!!!
Put the masses in her shoes, even if there was "an emergency", wud they be on the BRT lane? They should lead by example. That's the reason Nigeria is where it is today.

  16. How do they know for certain that it was the CJN? Was it through the number plates? Was she in the car? How do they know of all these for certain or was she the one that reported herself or maybe her driver reported her? RME!

  17. what if a common Nigerian has an emergency situation, or trying to safe a situation somewhere and then use the BRT lane. Will the CJ in court listen to the common man?
