Woman Catches Suspect Who Raped & Robbed Her For One Week

According to LEADERSHIP WEEKEND,A suspected rapist and kidnapper has been spotted by one of his victims in the premises of a new generation bank on Douglas Road, Owerri, Imo State.

Eyewitness account revealed that as soon as the woman identified her alleged abductor, she made straight for him as astonished customers in the bank looked on in utter surprise.

It was further gathered that with the help of the security operatives in the bank, the man was held until some military men on patrol in Owerri got to the bank. Click to continue reading.

The presence of the soldiers made the woman, who is said to be in her mid-thirties open up, revealing how she was kidnapped and raped by a gang led by the suspect.

The woman was said to have identified the man as the particular person, who raped her twice a day for the period of one week that she was held captive.

When the woman was asked how she knew the man was among the gang she claimed abused her, she was said to have told the crowd at the bank of a tattoo on the neck and lower waist of the man.

Subsequent upon her identification, which proved positive about the suspect, the man was said to have been bundled away from the bank along with the woman, who claimed that besides her being sexually abused by the man, her family equally paid a N10 million ransom.

Before the man was taken away from the bank, it was further gathered that the man’s bank account had about N75 million.

The state Police Public Relations officer, Vitalis Onugu, when contacted said he was yet to be briefed on the matter.

  11. The man will just bribe the police with half of that 75m naira. Na today? No be Naija again? And after now people will condemn jungle justice. Just imagine what Nigeria would have been without jungle justice. Completely failed and lawless jungle. Do we even have a police force? Report criminals to the police at your own peril. The same police will bundle you wey go report the criminal. Lol.

In as much as one does not support Jungle Justice, it is sometimes very difficult to sympathize with the accused criminals because honestly in MOST cases, nobody carries out the Jungle Justice without being sure. Anyone that has been robbed by criminals at gun point or raped by criminals with weapons will surely find it hard to condemn JJ. Imagine feeling for criminals when robbers killed your husband last week. And some of those robbers are actually students.

Anyway, God save the jungle called Nigeria.

  18. That person asking why she didn't comment about the so called ALUU jungle justice, she didn't because she doesn't have the facts and the right thing to do is not to write about it till all the facts are in. I commend her for not speaking about it unlike some people that are making emotional comments without facts....

  21. Are you so illiterate not to know what facts are? Do you know if those people were indeed robbers and killers or not? Of course we know they were victims of Jungle Justice but the question is do you know if they really were murderers and criminals? Nigerian communities take laws into their hands because the Nigerian police force is useless. Imagine what Naija will be like without jungle justice. At least now robbers and cultists will stay away from that community. God help Naija sha.

    1. STFU Oponu radarada! What if they were not robbers? Even if they were robbers of phones and laptops nko? The video wouldn't have generated this much reaction if they were simply shot. But what kind of beasts beat 4 young men repeatedly on the head with sticks and then set them ablaze? There's a reason we are called humans, not animals. And that's why we have rules, unlike in the jungle where you clearly belong.

  25. Just saying, y are we so quick to judge without proven facts or court?

Please imagine a case where the girl was jilted or is being used by an enemy of his to blackmail or set him up. All the person needs are those info (the girl who slept with him wld easily hav such infos as tattoo at her disposal). Then the N75m cld b moni from oda deals or moni he's helpn some1 kip. C, anythg cld hav transpired, pls dnt bee too quik to judge (Pray that Akoba Adabah no go b ur own; if u've bin set up b4 ehhh, walai u go kip quiet)..

    1. And why are you so quick to import lame ass scenarios from outside the story to proclaim the man as innocent? Are you a kidnapper?

The police can verify the lady's claims via the man's phone call log, bank account entries etc.
