Mad Woman Holds Up Traffic In Surulere, Lagos (Photos)

There was mild drama on Sunday around 7:45pm at Ogunlana Drive in Surulere, Lagos, when a middle-aged woman suspected to be mentally deranged stepped on the road and held traffic for a long time.The driver, who was in the Honda Civic car (pictured above), waited patiently for the woman who spoke good English, to be persuaded to leave the road. It was indeed a sight no one wanted to see.More pics after the cut.

  2. Lagos is not easy. See all the fine fine new age cars. So no more rickety death traps on the road of Lagos anymore? Haven't been home in 16yrs. Would be nice to see a more civilized modern Lagos o. Mental illness is taken too lightly in naija sha

LADUN I WAS THERE FOR REAL O E B LIKE SAY NA THERE D MADNESS START.INITIALLY I THOUGHT IT WAS MAYBE A CAR THAT BROKE DOWN IN FRONT BUT AS I WALKED THERE I SEE THIS WOMAN O STOOD IN D MIDDLE OF THE ROAD WITH HER ARMS CROSSED LIKE A SOLIDER NA ABEG WE BEGIN BEG HER HER O BUT NO WAY SHE DIDN'T MOVE AN INCH THAT HOW WE HAD TO START BEGGING PPLE TO REVERSE FROM D BACK BCUS IT WAS A CRAZY TRAFFIC THAT NITE.
